Walking Trail Design
The Public Art Company has been creating walking trails since 2003.
Working with Town and Tourism Managers and we provide the full walking trail design package; from concept to launch; Project Management, Mapping, Permissions, Planning, Signage, Cartography, Visitor Interpretation, Way Markers, Installation, Publishing and Launch Event.
We take the stress out of creating a walking trail for your city, town or village by designing and managing it for you, we can even advise on funding applications to make your idea a reality.
Temporary Walks for Arts & Tourism
We also create non-permanent leaflet based walks.
These can be as arts projects and artist residencies, in the form of ‘walk as art’ that investigates spaces though art , often as part of events or conferences.
Or can also be a pilot for a permanent installed walk at a location, providing research into whether a walk would be practical, and content gathering and creation. It is also a good option in locations where permanent signage is not permissible or appropriate.
